Auditor General appeals for accountability

Auditor General Tsakani Maluleke says it's urgent business to get ethical, responsible, and responsive leaders to lead institutions in both government and private sectors. Maluleke was addressing the Conscious Leadership and Ethics Summit underway in Johannesburg. She says it is such leaders that are able to inspire others and ensure that the organisations they lead are characterised by ethical behaviour. She says amidst the shrinking fiscus, such leaders can ensure that the resources they are entrusted with, are being deployed in the effective delivery of their given mandate in both the private and the public sector.
