Learners from various schools across Cape Town had the opportunity to interact and learn about various astronomy and science projects, when they visited the International Astronomical Union's 32nd General Assembly, currently under way in Cape Town. The gathering is being held for the first time in its 105-year history on the African continent . Over 2000 astronomers from more than 80 countries will participate at the gathering.
