The City of Tshwane is leaderless again. Former Tshwane Mayor, Cilliers Brink was voted out in an ANC tabled motion motion of no confidence over poor performance, linked to service delivery issues in townships and the failure to turn around the municipality's ailing finances. This has paved the way for a new power-sharing deal that will be led by the ANC, to vote in a new Mayor and Mayoral Committee. The ANC confirmed that they want to elevate credible leaders in the Tshwane Municipality, who will prioritise the interests of residents above all.
