An Evans man was arrested Wednesday after Columbia County Sheriff's Office investigators allegedly found child pornography on his computers.
Steven Yanizeski, 28, is charged with possession of child pornography and distribution of child pornography, according to a news release from the sheriff's office. He was not granted bond.
At about 9 a.m. Wednesday, investigators executed a search warrant on the 1000 block of Terri Court in Evans, according to the release. The warrant was for a person actively possessing and sharing child pornography.
Investigators allegedly found two open laptops on Yanizeski's bed that were actively connected and sharing child pornography, according to the release.
The incident report was not yet released as of 9:30 a.m. Thursday.
