Eskom, Sasol deal | Entities embark on a joint venture to reduce carbon footprint

Minister of Electricity and Energy Dr Kgosientsho Ramokgopa says the state will take the lead in protecting the interest of Sasol which will safeguard the economy of the country. Ramokgopa says for the country to reduce greenhouse gas emissions it's important to improve business relations between Sasol and Eskom. The South African Government has set ambitious targets: reduce greenhouse gas emissions by at least 50% below 2005 levels by 2030 and achieve net zero emissions by 2050.
