Inclement Weather | South Africans urged to delay trips following heavy snowfalls

4 hours ago 37

Despite some parts of the N3 highway between KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng being re-opened to traffic, authorities are advising South Africans to still delay their travels. This after heavy snowfalls blanketed the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands over the weekend leading to a closure of the road, stalling vehicles on the N3 travelling from Johannesburg towards KwaZulu-Natal. One person died after spending Friday night in a taxi stuck in the snow. To talk more on this matter, we are joined virtually by the Midlands Emergency Services (EMS) spokesperson, Roland Robertson For more news, visit sabcnews.com and #SABCNews on all Social Media platforms.
