India's Market Regulator Denies Accusation of Adani Conflict of Interest by Hindenburg Research

The chief of the Securities and Exchange Board of India has hit back at allegations of having conflicts of interest with the Adani Group. Hindenburg Research made the accusations in a report published over the weekend. The US short seller said previous investments by Madhabi Puri Buch and her husband prevented a thorough examination of manipulation and fraud claims.
