Passengers at the King Phalo Airport in East London in the Eastern Cape have expressed frustration due to delays and cancellation of flights. Inbound and outbound flights have been delayed while others have been cancelled. According to the Department of Transport in the province the flight delays are due to navigation systems that are further exacerbated by poor visibility due to adverse weather conditions in most parts of the province including East London.
