King Sabata Dalindyebo Municipality ward committee members demand stipend raise

Over 3-hundred and 50 ward committee members in the King Sabata Dalindyebo Local Municipality, have threatened to stop servicing their communities. They want the municipality to increase their monthly stipend from R2,500 to R12,500. They say it's challenging servicing their communities because they have to travel, eat, and pay their bills.
