Mark Maharaj and Mcebisi Jonas pay tribute to late Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan

Mourners have paid tribute to late cabinet veteran and struggle stalwart, Pravin Gordhan, at a special official category 2 funeral in Durban. 75-year-old Gordhan died in a Johannesburg hospital on Friday, from cancer. He served as Minister of Public Enterprises until the May elections. Prior to that, he served as Minister of Finance and SARS Commissioner. Gordhan entered politics in 1971 when he joined the Natal Indian Congress. He was involved in community activism and underground ANC work in the 70s and 80s.
