The United Nations Secretary General has sharply criticized Israel's perpetual evacuation orders to communities in Gaza, telling the press in New York that there was something fundamentally wrong in the way the war was being conducted. He was speaking a day after the one year anniversary of the horrific Hamas attack on Israel that has resulted in the ongoing war in Gaza that has largely destroyed the enclave. Antonio Guterres again sounded the alarm that the Middle East as a powder keg with many parties holding the match pointing to spiralling situations also in the West Bank and large-scale Israeli strikes deep into Lebanon.
