As schools re-open for the third term on the 9th of July, learners at some of the schools that were badly hit by a recent tornado at oThongathi in the northern parts of KwaZulu-Natal will not be able to go back to school. Several schools were affected where their roofs were blown away and some of the walls caved in. Pupils from higher grades had to be moved to a nearby school to be able to finish the term. In some instances second term exams were postponed. SABC News Reporter Nonhlakanipho Magwaza filed this report for us. For more news, visit sabcnews.com and #SABCNews on all Social Media platforms.
