Parents of learners at Hloniphani Secondary School in Swallowsnest village near Dundonald in Mpumalanga are frustrated after the provincial education department closed a nearby school in the area due to low enrolment. The parents say they were promised scholar transport in 2020 but there's been nothing so far, leaving the learners to walk 20 kilometres a day to get an education. SABC News reporter Nhlanhla Jele and video journalist Lungile Ngcongwane filed this report. For more news, visit sabcnews.com and #SABCNews on all Social Media platforms.
