Residents of two informal settlements in Durban are living in a safer and healthier environment, thanks to a successful pilot project for the safe disposal of nappies and other absorbent hygiene products. The project, led by a Swiss University, a nappy manufacturer and Durban's Green Corridors, has removed tonnes of nappies that were randomly dumped.
