Good news for indebted consumers as the Reserve Bank's Monetary Policy Committee decided to ease interest rates by 25 basis points. The move takes the country's repo rate to 8-percent and the prime lending rate to 11-point-5 percent. This marks the first rate cut in four years. The anticipation though, ahead of the announcement, was noteworthy. So today, we want to give you a sense of what was running through people's minds before the announcement was made.
