* The Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse has expressed concern about the new executive council announced by Gauteng premier Panyaza Lesufi. OUTA says it does not have full representation of other parties. At the same time, organisations like COSATU and other stakeholders have given the new Gauteng cabinet the thumbs up. COSATU says it expects the new cabinet to work with full commitment to support and bring change to workers' rights. * Minister in the Presidency Khumbudzo Ntshavheni says the much criticised increase in the size of the new national executive is a result of the recent election outcomes and the need to be inclusive. Ntshavheni says other factors like the demographics of the country, geographic spread, youth and gender representation were also considered. The Minister in the Presidency added that the new cabinet will only adopt their priorities at a scheduled cabinet lekgotla next week. * Conservatives leader Rishi Sunak has conceded the British general elections saying he has telephoned Labour's Keir Starmer to congratulate him on a stunning victory. It's been a terrible night for the Conservatives, who may suffer their worst ever defeat. Several of the parties big names have lost their seats. The leader of the Labour Party, Keir Starmer, has said Britain is ready for change.
