President of the South African Government Association (SALGA) Bheki Stofile, says they want the urgent intervention of security agencies to curb the killing of municipal councillors. Political assassinations are rife in KwaZulu-Natal. Stofile says if the matter is not urgently addressed, the problem might spread to other provinces. Stofile spoke during the SALGA two-day joint council of mayors and speakers in Polokwane. SABC News Reporter Vutivi Maluleke filed this story.
