1 hour ago 27

A rock shelter hidden inside a cliff - the Sibudu Cave - is among South Africa's latest UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The cave is among three components of the World Heritage site; the other two being the Diepkloof Rock Shelter in the Western Cape and the Pinnacle Point Site Complex in Mossel Bay. The Unesco World Heritage Convention states that collectively, the three sites provide the most varied and best-preserved record known, of the development of modern human behaviour, reaching back as far as 162 000 years. South Africa has 12 Unesco-declared World Heritage Sites. KwaZulu-Natal is home to four. For more news, visit sabcnews.com and #SABCNews on all Social Media platforms.
