STORM INCOMING: Georgia braces for Hurricane Helene

Hurricane Helene is set to make landfall in Florida on Thursday night, and neighboring states are bracing for impact. Now a Category 4 storm, Helene is expected to bring widespread damage. Hurricane and flash flood warnings extend into northern Georgia and western North Carolina. The governors of Florida, Georgia, Alabama, the Carolinas and Virginia all declared emergencies in their states.
