Thaba Nchu Book Festival

A lack of books written in Setswana about the Batswana in Thaba Nchu, in the Free State, has inspired the Thaba Nchu Book Festival. For three days, founder, author and storyteller Charmaine Mrwebi will visit various schools and Early Childhood Development centres, to promote a culture of reading, amongst others.
