Top border officials under investigation over ties to tequila maker

Two top Border Patrol officials and others are being investigated over their contacts with a Mexican tequila maker, current and former officials tell NBC News. Investigators are asking whether the officials properly disclosed the contact and whether they accepted anything that would violate ethics rules.
