Congressman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) has called for another investigation following the release of new body camera video showing the aftermath of last month’s assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump at his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Investigators said Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire on the rally on July 13, striking Trump in the ear, wounding two people in the crowd and killing a retired fire chief, Corey Comperatore. The new body cam video shows a Butler police officer saying he had told the US Secret Service to secure the building where Crooks was positioned. A Secret Service spokesperson has said the agency is reviewing the body camera video that was made public just days ago. One of many probes into the shooting and the law enforcement response led US Secret Service director Kimberly Cheatle to resign from her position. Several Congressional hearings have been held on security failures and more are likely to take place in the near future. LiveNOW from FOX host Josh Breslow spoke to Mike Harrigan, the former chief of the FBI's Firearms Training Program about it.
