Policing minister Dame Diana Johnson has warned there is scope for further far-right violence in coming days, with more protests planned. Wednesday's night demos passed off with relatively little of the disorder that had been feared. Dame Diana said the threat of "swift justice" had been a factor in pushing some far-right protesters to stay at home. But intelligence suggested the threat of violence was not over.
