Umkhomazi bulk water supply scheme on track

The Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure Dean Macpherson says the multi-billion rand Lower Umkhomazi bulk water supply scheme, in the south of Durban, is on track. Once complete it will augment water supply to the eThekwini Metro and the Ugu District on the province's South Coast. Government has also promised that the construction mafia - that has targeted this project in the past- will be brought to book.
