Workers at StarSat facing uncertain future after Icasa seizes broadcast equipment

Workers at pay tv platform StarSat are facing an uncertain future after Icasa officials seized broadcast equipment from the premises in Midrand. Earlier, officials from Icasa were at the premises of the Pay TV platform, removing broadcast equipment from the building. This after the company failed to cease broadcasting following a directive last month. The company was told to stop broadcasting after it failed to renew its Individual Subscription Broadcasting License which expired in July 2023.
