Moroadi Cholota, an initial key state witness is now accused number 17 in the multi-million rand asbestos roof removal case. She is expected to appear in court on Monday. Cholota, the former PA to the then premier of the Free State, Ace Magashule has been at the centre of the R255 million asbestos roof removal case. The case relates to the alleged irregular awarding of the multi-million rand contract in the Free State in October 2014. The accused in the matter includes former Free State premier, Ace Magashule, 17 others and companies facing charges of corruption and money laundering among others.
