The Federal Trade Commission is suing three of the largest pharmacy middlemen companies, accusing them of inflating insulin prices. The FTC's complaint alleges that CVS Health's Caremark, Cigna's Express Scripts, and United Health Group's Optum engaged in "anticompetitive and unfair rebating practices that have artificially inflated the list prices of insulin drugs."
