Dam Wall Collapse | Riverlands flood victims receive assistance

The Western Cape Department of Human Settlements has dispatched teams to Riverlands outside Malmesbury on the West Coast to assist victims of flooding that occurred as a result of two retention dams that collapsed earlier this week. About 200 people were affected, and road and water infrastructure damaged. A fourth dam in Riverlands has been successfully drained overnight.
