Gauteng provincial govt honours exceptional women

The Gauteng provincial government has celebrated World Tourism Day by honouring five exceptional women leaders. Four of those honoured are former cabinet ministers and struggle stalwarts who have made an immense contribution to South Africa since the dawn of democracy. These include Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, Dr Naledi Pandor, Lindiwe Sisulu, Lindiwe Zulu and the current Chief Justice, Mandisa Maya. The event also coincided with UNESCO's declaration of Constitution Hill and other struggle anti-apartheid sites as World Heritage Sites.
