Heritage Month| Explore the Pinnacle Point Caves

As South Africa celebrates Heritage Month, we take a look at the Pinnacle Point Caves at Mossel Bay in the Western Cape. The caves show evidence of human behaviour dating back more than 160 thousand years. The discoveries were made by an international team, headed by paleoanthropologist Professor Curtis Marean from the Institute of Human Origins of Arizona State University, as well as researchers from South Africa, Australia, Israel and France.
