Limpopo | Vhavenda Kingship court battle continues

A witness in the Vhavenda Kingship court battle has told the High Court in Polokwane, Limpopo, that she witnessed king Patrick Mphephu personally selecting princess Masindi Mphephu's mother, Fulufhelo, as a candle wife for his son, Dimbanyika Mphephu. Eighty-one year old Kutama Mudau is in support of princess Masindi Mphephu's bid to ascend the Vhavenda kingship throne. The throne has been a subject of contestation between princess Masindi and dethroned king Toni Mphephu Ramabulana since 2012.
