Remembering gospel icon Solly Moholo

South African gospel music icon Solly Moholo has passed away at the age of 65. His son Thabang Molokoane has confirmed that his father died at the Rustenburg hospital in the North West. Molokoane has requested privacy during this time of mourning. Moholo fell critically ill in August while performing in neighbouring Botswana. He was promoting his eagerly awaited album, "Wubani O zo Pepeza," when he was hit by a stroke. After being repatriated back home, he spent several weeks fighting for his life in ICU before ultimately succumbing to the effects of the stroke.
