Lusikisiki mass shooting I Funeral service of the 18 deceased set for 12th and 13th of October

The dates for the funeral service of the 18 people who were gunned down at Ngobozana village in Lusikisiki over the past weekend have been set. A local ward councilor has confirmed the 12th and the 13th has been agreed upon by the families and government for the burial of the deceased. The families are reported to have refused that it be a mass funeral. A mass memorial service will be held at the local College this coming Sunday. Eastern Cape Premier Spokesperson Khuselwa Rantjie says engagements are being made by provincial council to financially support affected families in order to bury their loved ones with dignity.
