Some political analysts believe that it is unlikely that the ousting of former Tshwane Mayor Cilliers Brink, will affect the arrangement of the Government of National Unity. Brink was removed as Tshwane mayor last Thursday following a vote of no confidence brought against him by the ANC. This is a move that has seen DA Federal Council chairperson, Helen Zille write to the ANC to reinstate Brink or face the risk of the DA walking away from any engagements on hung municipalities.
