Sascoc reports strong finances

The South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (Sascoc) has painted a glowing picture of its finances at its annual general meeting in Johannesburg. Sascoc President, Barry Hendricks, says the once cash-strapped sports governing body has done well in improving its image and turning around its finances. Chief Executive Officer, Nozipho Jafta, says the body has received a clean audit for the 2023/2024 financial year and will close the year with a healthy bank balance.
