Social Relief | NPO on a mission to lessen impact of poverty

A community-based organisation in Upington is showing what Ubuntu means in practice by reaching out to the poor. Established in 2017, the KODA Multipurpose Community Development Association is constructing a vegetable garden, which will provide produce to its on-site soup kitchen, as well as serve residents in need. In his Women’s Day address, President Cyril Ramaphosa has highlighted the impact of poverty and inequality in communities, vowing to eradicate these issues. eNCA reporter, Kevin Brandt, visited the organisation.
