Construction mafia accused granted R10,000 bail each

Five men facing extortion charges have been granted bail of ten-thousand-rand each by the Camperdown Magistrate’s Court in KwaZulu-Natal. Andile Jiyane, Elias Phetha, Nhlanhla Makhathini, Sibonelo Khanyile and Thabani Nkomo are accused by the state of being members of the so-called construction mafia group. The accused deny all the allegations.
