The case against wanted fugitive, Michael Lomas, has been postponed to the 27th of September at the Kempton Park Magistrate's Court, on Gauteng's East Rand. Lomas, who arrived at OR Tambo International earlier today, has been formally handed over to the Hawks after being extradited to South Africa by SAPS Interpol SA. The Eskom employee is wanted for fraud and corruption concerning more then 1-and-a-half billion-rand, at the Kusile Power Station between 2008 and 2018. He was previously arrested and granted bail, before fleeing to the UK. Lomas was arrested in London in 2021, and his extradition was approved in August this year.
