Drug abuse among schoolchildren in the North West has become a growing problem. 41-year-old, Tshepo Sekgweleo, who has battled drug addiction since his youth, says many school children have developed a concerning taste for the highly addictive crystal meth, popularly known as "before class". In response to the drug scourge, government plans to establish additional drug treatment centres across the province, specifically in Mahikeng and the Bojanala District.
