The Free State High Court in Bloemfontein has dismissed with costs, the urgent application by the provincial Community Safety, Roads and Transport to interdict the much anticipated annual Lemo Cultural Festival that is due next month. The department's MEC Jabu Mbalula lodged an urgent court application against businessman Freddie Kenny and the Mangaung Metro. According to the filed court papers, Mbalula wanted to interdict the festival and for the structure that Kenny is currently building adjacent to his Lemo mall, in Mangaung, to be demolished.
