Independent Power Producers have called for more grid connection from Eskom. South Africa is facing limited grid capacity as more Independent Power Producers (IPP)s are ready to connect to the national grid. This as the country continues to accelerate the procurement of renewable energy through the IPPs as part of the energy mix. Minister of Electricity and Energy Dr Kgosientsho Ramokgopa gathered roleplayers in the energy space for the inaugural renewable energy seminar.
